Foreshadow. Distinction. Exultant. Decisions. Somebody, nobody, crusading — controlling. Submission. Subvision. Transition. Transmission. Move over, move over, move over … or take it like a man. Wear it like the pride upon your face. 'Cause it hurts you this time, baby, But you'll get back up — keep your smug chin up if you can. Yeah, what kills you makes you stronger. On your knees a little longer. Ride the burden that you bear. Take it. Explicit. Instinctive. Compulsive. Red-blooded. Posessive. Positioned. Empowered. Imprisoned.

In a different life, I had all of the answers. in a different life, I just joined a cult and changed my name. in a different life, I got whatever the hell I wanted (and it was pretty great, honestly, I had nothing to complain about) But in a different life, you cared about how I was doing. And in a different life, hell, for once I cared about myself. And in a different life, you and I were still together. And in a different life, we didn't have to try. We didn't have to try. The regrets and the failures of the past that haunt me every now and then. If I was made to do it over, would I make the same mistakes again? In a different life, I was on the cover of TIME. And in a different life, yeah, I drank with George W douche. And in different life, I had sex with Andy Warhol (and almost Jeffrey Dahmer, and I kind of dodged a bullet there). And in a different life, I was not always obsessed with you. And in a different life, hell, you treated me like I deserve. And in a different life, I was actually, finally, over you. And in a different life — no — we didn't have to try. We didn't have to. We didn't have to. No, we didn't have to try. Suffice to say: • I never cried. • You didn’t break me with your lies. • I moved on when I said goodbye. • We never even had to fucking try. Despite the ways I’m broken would I love you every life I lived again? Presented with the option would I elect to meet my decline again?

Kryptonite 03:24
Want what you can’t have. Crave what you can’t feel. Do what you can. Just save your own life one tongue at a time. Get what you can. He’s trying to figure it out, a way to be alone. He’s got some luck on his side to pick a fair fight. He said, “Despite my condition, regardless of your tone, stuck here in this disposition, you are my Kryptonite ... I’m not that strong — you’ve got me right here where you want me.” Raw chemical surge. Hot, guilty, sick urge just pulls you in. I know how this plays — same shit different day. And back for more. She’s trying to figure it out, a way to be alone. She’s got some luck on his side to pick a fair fight. She said, “Despite my condition, regardless of your tone, stuck here in this disposition, you are my Kryptonite ... I’m not that strong — you’ve got me right here where you want me.” You've got me right by your side. You've got me choking in your wringer. You’ve got me wrapped around your finger. But I should know better. “...I’m not that strong. You turn me on. It feels so right ... you feel so wrong. It’s been so long stuck waiting right here where you want me.”

In Hell 04:35
Together now, and in a way words can breathe but can’t explain. To be alive another day. Shame the victim for his pain For what it's worth your bed will be made for you ... to fall in place where I’ll be waiting for you in hell. Hell. Invisible, to be condemned. No one knows us in the end. A conscious gaze to sing our song: God has fucked us right to wrong. So I surrender to be kind before you ... in acquiescence my soul will surround you in hell. Hell. And in the joys of life I tried them with you. And when the future burned I moved on with you. And when you chose your way I walked there with you. And when you killed me my heart still beat with you.
